The 2172R Ethernet Extender reduces the cost and hassles of new installations by utilizing installed voice-grade twisted pairs and eliminating the expense of fiber or Cat5e cabling.

The extenders are Plug and Play and require minimal configuration or cable work during installation with auto-sensing 10/100, full or half duplex, and auto MDI-X.

The Model 2172R is available with both 48VDC and AC power and supports temperatures from -10 to +70 degC.

The conformal coated Model 2172R/CC supports temperatures from -10 to +80 degC.
