About Digital Networks Australia
Digital Networks Australia is focused on providing Network Professionals with solutions to their connectivity requirements and tools for their Service Level Agreement commitments.
Edge Connectivity - Core Visibility

Since 1993 we’ve survived dot-com crashes, Y2K glitches and many, many technology cycles.

Network Professionals have maintained their relationships with us throughout their careers and in different roles and in different companies – many for 10 years or more.

Their core components change from employer to employer, from Cisco to Nortel or Alcatel to Enterasys but their need to connect and integrate at the Edge does not.

Nor do their Core Visibility SLA commitments to maintain and optimize their networks.

Edge Connectivity.

Our connectivity products provide solutions at the edge of our Network Professionals network – extending, integrating and optimizing where their core components either couldn’t technically or were prohibitively expensive.

As the market evolved so did we.

With the advent of Fast Ethernet Network Professionals required Edge Connectivity solutions that enabled their core fixed port switches to connect over fiber or legacy coax networks. The arrival of 1000Mbs Ethernet at the core brought similar requirements to connect at the Edge over fiber, and over significant distances.

Edge connection requirements for today’s Network Professional include integration with legacy equipment and new and evolving triple play technologies, across low speed, low grade existing infrastructure, into and across CWDM/DWDM and 10 GB and faster optical networks.

Core Visibility.

Our Core Visibility tools allow Network Professionals to meet their Service Level commitments through managing, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on their networks.

With evolution of the Internet, email, IM, VoIP and dozens of other technologies the Network Professionals Core Visibility requirements now include website, network proxy and firewall usage analysis and critical server and device monitoring – In today’s business environment the network IS the business and without it effective business communication simply can’t happen.

The Core Visibility needs of today’s Professional are based around Service Level Agreement commitments and encompass scalable and easy to use network monitoring, management and analysis solutions and network device reporting.
